We meet the challenges in the spice market with strategic measures and customised solutions for our customers. After shipment and storage in certified warehouses, we subject our spices, seeds, herbs and dried vegetables to regular testing in independent, accredited laboratories. We also offer free house delivery, steam sterilisation, forward contracts, flexible payment terms and comprehensive after-sales services that provide expertise and market intelligence to give you and your customers a decisive competitive advantage for a sustainably successful sourcing strategy.
OUR SOLUTIONS
The spice market is highly competitive and characterised by various challenges: Fluctuating harvest yields due to climate change and extreme weather, as well as political changes in the countries of origin, influence the availability and quality of natural raw materials. In addition, supply chains in a global economy are extremely susceptible to delays caused by geopolitical crises, accidents or natural disasters, which leads to significant fluctuations in availability, demand and price. Constantly rising quality requirements and increasingly stringent regulations in Europe and North America are putting pressure on all market participants to continuously develop and find solutions.
CHALLENGES

Albert Panzer GmbH is a traditional Hamburg-based trading company for raw spices, herbs, seeds and dried vegetables. Founded in 1882 as a commercial agency for vanillin, it has changed considerably over the last 100 years and is now one of the most influential trading companies for these products in Europe.
After several changes of ownership, the company was taken over in 1999 by cousins Sven Stamer und Kai Jantzen, who are both sixth generation spice traders and can now draw on almost 30 years of experience in the spice market. Thanks to the dynamism and passion of the current owners, Albert Panzer GmbH has grown to its current size and strength over the last 25 years. With over 25 different products from 21 countries, we now supply over 100 customers worldwide.
